Indiana State Fair

Deadlatches

Again and again, we find that deadlatches are the cause of numerous lock failures When the deadlatch and the strike plate are not aligned properly, failures will occur. The deadlatch plunger may break and fail to provide the protection it adds. Watch the video to learn how check if the deadlatch is working properly on your locks.

Padlocks to match your house keys

Yes, we do carry padlocks that can be keyed to match your house key. If, like many people, you have the drawer full of padlocks without keys or the pile of keys that you are sure go to a padlock somewhere; these are a great item to have. Heavy duty 1 3/4" with a 5/16" shackle or 2" with a 3/8" shackle, for home or business use. Eliminate the little padlock keys cluttering your key ring and never be without the right key for your padlock!

Simplex Lock Retrofit

In February, we posted about a class action lawsuit regarding Simplex mechanical code locks. There is now an electronic code retrofit available for the L1000 Series being advertised as an "easy and inexpensive fix to address defeat issues."
